Iris

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

Iris is an iOS mail assistant built by Jury Alyavdin. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is processed, and what leaves your device.

What Iris accesses

Iris connects to your Gmail account using Google OAuth with the gmail.readonly scope. This allows the app to read your email messages, subjects, senders, and timestamps. Iris does not send, delete, or modify any emails.

Where your data is processed

All email processing happens on your device using Apple Intelligence (Apple Foundation Models). Your email content is never uploaded to any server operated by Iris or Jury Alyavdin. No third-party AI service receives your email data.

What is stored

Third parties

Data sharing

Iris does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party beyond the Google and Apple integrations described above.

Revoking access

You can revoke Iris's access to your Gmail account at any time by visiting Google Account → Third-party apps with account access and removing Iris.

Children

Iris is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
